The address you type in

When you type an address into the Found Internet chat tool, it's used only to check which internet providers serve that location. Addresses are not stored. To answer your question, your address (or the coordinates it resolves to) is sent to the third-party services below for that one lookup. To keep the tool fast and avoid repeating the same lookup, the result may be cached briefly — up to 24 hours — keyed to an approximate map coordinate, not to your address text or your identity, and automatically discarded after that window. We never log the addresses, coordinates or IP addresses tied to individual lookups.

Third-party services we use

Answering a chat message involves a few outside services, each used only for the specific job below:

  • A third-party mapping and geocoding service — turns the address you type into map coordinates and powers the autocomplete suggestions as you type.
  • A third-party broadband data provider receives the address to check which internet services are reported at that location.
  • A third-party AI service — writes the conversational reply you see in the chat, using the provider results above.

None of these services are used to track you across visits or to build a profile — each call is a one-off lookup to answer the message you sent.

Cookies and analytics

Found Internet does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics of any kind.

Phone calls and how we're paid

The phone numbers on this site are answered by Found Internet's own sales team. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality, training and compliance. On a call we collect your name, service address, phone number, email, date of birth, ID or Social Security number for a credit check, and payment details wherever the provider requires them. We use these details only to place and install your order with the provider, and share them with the provider for that purpose. Call recordings are kept for 30 days. We're an authorized sales partner of the providers whose plans we show on this site, and the provider pays us a commission when your service is installed. See Terms of Use for more.
